Oily mess

I think the weather change is NOT agreeing with me. Basically I look like I have been working in a fast food restaurant 24/7 because my skin has been so oily. Let's just say its NOT pretty. So I was looking for something to help me. I've tried the blotting papers and I do like them but for some reason I always forget them or I'm not really in a place that I can pull them out basically mop my face off. Ha! I went to my trusty friend Sephora and found this powder. You put it on after your foundation and its supposed to last all day. Its basically like a white pressed powder. It doesn't go on white though. I use my bronzer brush to apply it so its not too thick. I have only used it a couple of times and I THINK I like it. I'm not totally convinced because I have had to apply it a couple of times throughout the day. Its NOT cheap and I still have to use my foundation AND regular powder because I like the color so I'm not sure if its going to become part of my permanent "Line-up" of make-up.

This is the description that Sephora has on their website:

De-Slick Mattifying Powder
What it is:
A translucent mattifying powder.

What it does:
Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder is a shine-stopping pressed powder that blots oil and keeps shine at bay. The lavender shade applies invisibly and works on every skintone. Try it on naked skin (if you run into the hot guy at the gym), or over foundation (for touch-ups on the dance floor without destroying your makeup). Because the formula contains super lightweight, oil-absorbing rice powder you won't feel the powder, but you'll see the shine-free results.
