New Hairspray

One of the girls at the salon recommended this Hairspray. It's Tigi Bed Head's "Masterpiece" hairspray.....

I LOVE IT!!!! It has awesome hold but not too sticky. I hate sticky hairspray!!!! Plus it smells like sweetarts and hello anything that smells like candy gets an A+ in my book! You can buy it at any salon that carries Bed Head. Of course you could always come out to "The Rouge" and get it there..... I'm just sayin!

No waiting polish!

Ok so I LOVE me some OPI nail polish however I have been polishing my finger nails a lot lately and it takes FOREVER to dry and by the time I put on a base coat, color and then top coat it takes forever and they always get all nicked up. So while I was at Meijer this week I decided to just pick up one of these fast drying bottles . I actually bought Racy Rouge and its more of a red color. I really like the color!!! So yesterday I quick slapped on two coats before work. No base coat. No Top Coat. 5 minutes of being careful and DONE! Totally dry! And shiny like I had put a top coat on. I cannot believe it! I'm going today to buy a few more colors because its so easy!!!

Pump me up!

The salon I work at is BIG on the "Big Sexy hair" line. So in order for me to be the most knowledgeable receptionist that I possibly can I have decided that I MUST learn more about these products. Ha! So if my husband is reading this then he should know that this is strictly for work purposes.....ha ha ha. So anyway, I have been hearing the girls talk about this stuff. You spray it on the roots of your hair. I focus on that area at the top/back of your head.....what is that called?? I can't think of the actual name but you know what I'm talking about, where you do your poof! Ha! And it gives you some extra volume and also some grip to your hair so that when you backcomb it stays longer. I really like this stuff. I wasn't so sure because if I put to much product in my hair it turns into a greasy mess. But this is working out fabulously! I think it run about $17-$18 and its a HUGE can and you don't use that much so I'm sure it lasts a while!

Time to try new shampoo/conditioner

I'm trying a new shampoo and conditioner. Its from the Sexy hair line. Its called Silky Sexy Hair Lite. They have the lite for fine hair and then regular for thicker more coarse hair. So far I'm loving it. Leaves my hair feeling SOOOOO soft and well Silky. But yet it doesn't weigh down my super fine thin hair which means A+ in my book. And its really affordable. The Shampoo was like $12 and the conditioner was like $13. So for a salon quality product that is great in my book!
